Antipasti

Traditionally this is served ahead of the main dishes. Usually they consist of cold foods prepared ahead of time.

  • Marinated Foods (peppers, eggplant, mushrooms,artichokes,asparagus )
  • Cheese
  • Dry preserved  (salami, prosciutto)
  • Fresh Prepared  (panelle, zucchini)

Salads

Radicchio with Orange Salad

Take radicchio torn to bite size pieces. Use 1 orange peeled with a knife and then diced into bite size pieces. Add sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Then toss in balsamic vinegar first add wpe3.jpg (7173 bytes)extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy !

Lo Zucco Tomato Salad

Slice 8 fresh Roma tomatoes into bite size pieces. Chop one quarter of a spanish onion. Chop black pitted olives canned in water. (to taste) Crumble 2 tablespoons of feta cheese. (preferably goat feta) Combine all ingredients, add sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Then toss in balsamic vinegar and wpe3.jpg (7173 bytes)extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy !
